Transatlantic Bridge-Building in the Life Sciences Sector
On May 9, 2025, representatives from the life sciences industry in North Carolina and Baden-Württemberg met in Stuttgart for professional exchange. The goal of the event was to explore opportunities for collaboration in biotechnology, medical technology, and pharmaceutical research.
North Carolina Life Sciences Trade Mission Visits Stuttgart
On May 9, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming the delegation of the North Carolina Life Sciences Trade Mission to Stuttgart as a cooperation partner. The event, held at the Evangelisches Bildungszentrum Hospitalhof Stuttgart, provided an excellent platform for international exchange, targeted matchmaking, and the development of new cooperation approaches in the fields of biotechnology, medical technology, and pharmaceutical research.
The meeting was organized by AHP International, the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC), BIOPRO Baden-Württemberg GmbH, and BioRegio STERN Management GmbH.
Focus on Networking
Following the official welcome by representatives from AHP, EDPNC, BIOPRO, and BioRegio STERN, participating companies from both regions introduced themselves through short pitches. This allowed for a quick overview of competencies and potential areas of collaboration. Subsequent B2B meetings facilitated targeted connections, discussion of project ideas, and the identification of potential synergies.
The event concluded with a joint networking buffet, which further promoted informal exchange.
