SynergyHub4Health – For the Healthcare Industry of the Future

Objective

SynergyHub4Health is creating an innovative platform that brings together expertise from various bio-regions, fosters cross-sector collaboration, and drives the exchange of new, practice-oriented solutions for the healthcare sector.

Topic

The four partner networks — BioPharma Cluster South Germany, BioRegio STERN, BioLAGO, and BioRN — have established connections to specialist knowledge, economic expertise, and key players in the regional innovation and start-up ecosystems.

With SynergyHub4Health, these strengths are being combined for the first time in a modular exchange and cooperation platform — with a focus on the key areas of the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, and medical technology.

The platform consists of two central modules:

• Experts 4 Health – a specialist module for interregional networking of experts from research, industry, and regulatory bodies. The goal is to jointly develop solutions for the healthcare industry and publish them in the form of white papers.
• Start-ups meet xTechs – an innovation and transfer module that connects founding teams, start-ups, and professionals. Insights from Experts 4 Health are translated into new partnerships and concrete innovation projects here.

Duration, Funding, and Background

• The project runs from July 2025 to June 30, 2028.
• Total budget for BioRegio STERN Management GmbH: EUR 159,500.00.
• The project is being implemented as part of the Regional Innovation Systems funding program. Equipped with around EUR 2.6 million from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the program aims to specifically strengthen and further develop the competencies of cluster initiatives and networks.
