Nine companies from the Netherlands, Ireland, France and Germany had the opportunity to pitch in front of the French pharmaceutical company. Daniela Onofri from Medicen Paris Region moderated the event and Dr. Margot Jehle from BioRegio STERN Management GmbH gave an introduction to the Interreg NWE project Codex4SMEs which plans to improve healthcare by enhancing the adoption of Personalized Medicine in North-West Europe. The objective is to establish a network, which supports SMEs along the value chain of Companion diagnostics (Cdx) development.

The round table focused on precision medicine in oncology and how to match the ‚right patients‘ to a given drug. Anne-Laure Bauchet from Sanofi gave an introduction to her company‘s needs concerning biomarkers in oncology and expectations about biomarkers settings. The nine Dutch, Irish, French and German companies from the Codex4SMEs network presented themselves in short pitches and had the opportunity to clarify further questions with Mrs. Bauchet. This was the second pitch session organized by Codex4SMEs, further online pitch events will take place soon.
