Development, manufacture and sale of systems for full-body and local hyperthermia

heckel medizintechnik GmbH was founded at the end of 1994 under the name "heckel – Therapeutic Infra-Red Systems". The firm develops, produces and sells full-body hyperthermia systems that artificially raise the body temperature using infra-red radiation, thereby stimulating the body’s self-healing abilities in people with chronic illness. These systems, which feature a newly-developed, multi-functional reflection tent, are used to treat various conditions including degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system, chronic inflammatory diseases and cancer-related illnesses. The company sells equipment for local deep hyperthermia which is used in the treatment of tumours.
