AID GmbH

Producing and marketing of diagnostic products, devices and associated computer programs in the field of immunology and infectious diseases

Since 1989, AID GmbH, headquartered in Southwest Germany on the Swabian Alb, has been producing and marketing diagnostic products, devices and associated computer programs in the field of immunology and infectious diseases.

One of the world's most widely used EliSpot readers (AID EliSpot reader system) was developed and produced by AID. Based on the success of this system, we are continually working on the development of further automated complete solutions in the areas of microbiology, virology and cell biology and offer robotic devices for high-throughput analyzes. The latest development is the AID BacSpot Robotic System, a complete solution for analyzing up to 200 agar plates per hour, as well as the AID EliSpot Robotic System, the world's first high-throughput device for EliSpot analyzes.

In addition to the hardware solutions, we can provide a comprehensive range of test systems for research labs and diagnostic devices.

With regard to the certification and accreditation of the diagnostic laboratories, special emphasis is placed on automated test systems, so that, among other things, a simple documentation and archiving of the findings is given. In addition, the processing requirements within a product group are the same for all tests, which greatly facilitates the handling of the tests and minimizes the error probability.
