“I completed my studies in classical biology at the University of Hohenheim. During my Master’s program, I gained valuable practical experience through an internship semester at Greiner Bio-One GmbH, where I had the opportunity to gain insights into various departments. There, I became familiar with the entire product development process for specific applications in medical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnological research. Subsequently, I wrote my Master’s thesis at the Institute of Membrane Physiology in cooperation with Greiner Bio-One GmbH. In this context, I characterized magnetic nanoparticles serving as a model system for the generation of 3D cell cultures and investigated their effects on cellular parameters. Since 2018, I have been working as a Project and Technology Transfer Manager at BioRegio STERN Management GmbH. I am particularly fascinated by identifying and advancing innovative technologies in the life sciences and connecting them with emerging fields of the future. As an experienced ZIM network manager, I connect companies from different industries, actively promote innovation, and thereby contribute to strengthening the region as a business location.”

"In addition to studying Spanish, French and English linguistics and literature as well as ethnology at the University of Freiburg, I worked as a freelance translator and interpreter for English and Spanish. Afterwards, in addition to my work as a fundraiser and communicator for various non-profit organizations, I trained as a PR and marketing manager in Berlin. In June 2013, I joined BioRegio STERN as Public Relations Manager. My current focus is on expanding BioRegio STERN's key account management as well as supporting collaborations and innovative developments in the healthcare industry. As a technology transfer manager, I help companies to find suitable cooperation partners and support services."
