Landesnetzwerk Mechatronik BW GmbH

The Landesnetzwerk Mechatronik BW e.V. (KMBW) unites more than 100 members from industry, science and politics. Core theme of the network is the Mechatronics which forms an interdisciplinary technology and an ideal environment for interdisciplinary and constructive networking. The cluster has a wide cross-sector members range from large companies that are active on the global market, SMEs, start-ups, universities and research institutions. This diversity helps to create interdisciplinary innovations and forms the basis of the real lived industry-driven cluster approach, in which implementation and sustainability are core elements. For every task the KMBW can develop a solution competence; all necessary partners and competences can be reached quickly and are promptly available. Companieas that participate in the network benefit directly. Since early 2011, the KMBW focused on six global issues: energy, health, communication, mobility, safety and the environment. All activities can be assigned to even more than one of these topics.
