The Swagelok Company was founded in 1947 by Fred A. Lennon (1905 – 1998). Swagelok’s company headquarters are located in Ohio and B.E.S.T. Fluidsysteme GmbH (formerly B.E.S.T. Ventil + Fitting GmbH Stuttgart) in Reutlingen/Altenburg is one of Swagelok’s German offices. The company markets over 80 different designs of Swagelok® twin-ferrule tube fittings, quick connects and hoses, thread and weld fittings, screw fittings, valves, ballcocks and high-pressure components.
