AnDiaTec GmbH & Co. KG’s core activities focus on the development, manufacture and sale of in vitro diagnostic tools.

The products marketed include ParaTub® and LactoScan®. ParaTub® is currently the only high-throughput detection method for Mycobacterium paratuberculosis (MAP), the pathogen responsible for incurable paratuberculosis in cattle. MAP causes major economic damage and is also linked to the inflammatory bowel condition called Crohn’s disease in humans.

LactoScan® is a simple and rapid test for reliably detecting lactose intolerance in humans. It is likely that more than 10 million people in Germany are affected by lactose intolerance, a disease that, in the form of primary lactose intolerance, has genetic causes and can lead to under-supplies of lactase between the ages of 6 and 20 and subsequently lead to symptoms typical of the disease.

AnDiaTec GmbH & Co. KG is also an adviser to the WHO in the context of a diagnostic project for enteroviruses in India.
The laboratory is accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO IEC 17025 and 15189

algaetec@hezinger.netwww.hezinger-algaetec.comHezinger Algaetec was founded in 2007 with the aim of developing and producing installations for the industrial cultivation of microalgae and distributing these worldwide. The company plans and supplies the entire production chain – from algae cultivation to biomass utilization – as a complete, customized system. The key components of the installations are the photobioreactors, which the company develops in-house. The premise of the procedure developed by Hezinger Algaetec is to utilize as little artificial energy (e.g. electricity) as possible in the system. The main source of energy for the bioreactors is natural sunlight, the use of which ensures that industrial algae cultivation is cost-effective, environmentally friendly and results in a positive energy balance. Hezinger Algaetec works closely with well-known biology, light engineering and planning specialists in order to ensure perfect results in the development and production of photobioreactors.
