oekoservice GmbH

Development and construction of biological wastewater purification systems (B 2000, BioTop, BioTopp, sludge settling), biotechnological optimisation of the purification function of municipal wastewater treatment plants, plants for rainwater utilisation, and maintenance of small-scale wastewater treatment plants and separating plants.

Ökoservice GmbH was founded in 1984.
The company’s core business includes plants for decentralised wastewater disposal (municipal wastewater treatment plants for 4 to 3000 residents), and industrial wastewater plants. A large number of plants based on the patented B 2000 system, the BioTop system launched in 1997, and its improved successor the BioTopp system are all successfully in service.

The BioTop and BioTopp wastewater treatment plant systems are available in plastic or concrete configurations and in the form of a retrofit kit, which is also ideally suited for export.

Ökoservice GmbH received a special recognition award at the "2005 Esslingen Innovation Prize" for its innovative combination comprising BioTopp with no mechanical pre-treatment and a sludge settling system. The system does not process faecal sludge, which is relatively expensive when it comes to disposal, thereby ensuring full compliance with recycling management and waste disposal legislation.

Rainwater utilisation plants are a further key area of environmental technology at Ökoservice. These can be adapted in the form of all-in-one systems to meet the requirements of private households and industry.

The company’s product portfolio also contains an extensive offering of separating plants for oil, petrol and fats.

In addition to process development of wastewater purification systems, Ökoservice has performed maintenance on small-scale wastewater treatment plants for over 20 years and has a network of maintenance contracts across Germany. The company analyses wastewater samples in its own lab as evidence for the authorities. Furthermore, evaluations of analysis results are used to optimise the purification function. The maintenance programme also covers separating plant and pumping stations.
