The company’s key focus area is Jatropha curcas, an oil seed plant that is indigenous to almost all tropical countries and that grows on poor soils in extreme climatic conditions. Due to its versatility, the plant is well suited to the production of biofuels, the recultivation of waste land, CO2 sequestration as well as to the creation of local jobs and income.
