The new overview map of institutions, companies and services in the STERN BioRegion

The STERN BioRegion encompasses biotechnology and medtech companies in the cities and regions of Stuttgart, Tübingen, Esslingen, Reutlingen and Neckar-Alb in Germany. The new overview map shows 170 of the organisations that make up this skill-sharing network. The map also shows the locations of almost 50 life sciences institutes and just as many consultancy and support facilities.

BioRegio STERN Management GmbH has so far helped more than 60 companies in the start-up process, resulting in over 1,000 new jobs. In all, the STERN BioRegion is home to around 100 companies in the biotech industry alone, which in the last few years have brought investments of over 360 million euros in equity and funding. The life sci-ences industry employs a total of 16,000 staff in the region.
