Gambro is a global group that specialises in dialysis technology, blood component technology and healthcare services. The joint-stock company, based in Sweden, is divided into Gambro Healthcare, Gambro Renal Products and Gambro BCT.
It’s Hechingen office is one of the group’s production facilities operated by Gambro Renal Products, manufacturing dialysis machines, haemoperfusion cartridges, electrolyte concentrates and other medical items for single use. Hechingen is also home to the research and development centre for dialysis machines/membrane technology and the logistics and distribution centre for Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Benelux countries.
One of the branch offices of Gambro Dialysatoren GmbH, which is also located in Hechingen, solely produces catheters for use in dialysis.
