BioStar, the International Congress on Regenerative Biology and Medicine

The STERN BioRegion is home to BioStar, the International Congress on Regenerative Biology and Medicine which took place for the first time in 2004 and repeated its success in 2006 and 2008.

In 2006, BioStar was a joint event with the International Congress on Bio-Nanointerface, ICBN, which also took place for the second time. The double event attracted participants from over 20 countries and opened up new perspectives in the fields of bio- and nanotechnology.

4th Congress on Regenerative Biology and Medicine – “BioStar 2010”

The 4th Congress on Regenerative Biology and Medi-cine – “BioStar 2010” will be held in Stuttgart from 13 to 15 October 2010. This interna-tionally established congress brings together scientists and practitioners from all disci-plines who are involved in regenerative biology and medicine. Researchers, medical specialists and entrepreneurs will be offered a high-calibre programme on cutting-edge developments in regenerative medicine and stem cell research at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart.
The congress is being organised by the Society for the Promotion of Biotechnology Stuttgart/Tübingen/Neckar-Alb in cooperation with BioRegio STERN Management GmbH, the Center for Regenerative Biology and Medicine (ZRM) at the University of Tübingen and BIOPRO Baden-Württemberg GmbH.
